The Difference Between <b> and <B> tag

March 24, 2008

Most Common People asks: "Should I use uppercase or lowercase tags?"

HTML isn’t case sensitive. But most Web designers use only lowercase for these reasons:

1) Newer Web standards like XHTML aren’t as lenient. They’ll force you to use lower tags.
2.) Web authoring tools like Frontpage and Dreamweaver always use lowercase tags.

Other Web fans still use uppercase tags because it stands out in the sea of HTML. But for playing safe, lowercase tags is most suitable.
